Kevin Buckler, Owner of Adobe Road Winery, hired Steven Noble to create a uniquely customized illustration for his brand. Kevin wanted to include a cobblestone road meandering into the distant Sonoma hills and into the sunset flanked with vineyards on either side. The other main elements he wanted was an Adobe style house on the left balanced by a basket of grapes on the right. Adobe Road Winery was opened in the heart of Sonoma County in 2002. Their goal, to craft wines that exemplify the true essence of California's most revered wine growing regions. The illustration was hand-drawn in a scratchboard woodcut style and digitally colorized.
