Robert Louey Design commissioned Steven Noble to illustrate a series of illustrations for Alisal Ranch which was responsible for updating their branding. In 1946, the ranch was opened as the luxury working ranch it is today located in the land nestled in the Santa Ynez Valley bound by a river on the northeast and a coastal mountain range on the southwest of California. The task was to complete a map of the ranch along with a series of matching complimentary woodcut spot illustrations.
