Anchor Brewing Company along with Bulldog Drummond commissioned Steven Noble to render the illustration for their new label called Brewer’s Pale Ale that includes a man stirring beer ingredients inside a still. Anchor Brewing Company is an American alcoholic beverage producer, operating a brewery and distillery on Potrero Hill in San Francisco, California. The brewery was founded back in 1896. The illustration was completed and rendered in a scratchboard-woodcut style.
