Aveleda commissioned Steven Noble to create a series of illustrations depicting the different rich landscape scenes for their varietals of wine labels located near Porto, Portugal. The wines include Vinho Verde, Douro Doc, Alvarinho, Quinta da Aveleda and Loureiro. Aveleda is a name which spans several generations with the first records of the sale of bottled wine date back to 1870. The illustrations were created in a classic scratchboard etching style and successfully help launch their new brand across the globe.
