Vigor Branding hired Steven Noble to add his touch of expertise to this new and up and coming cider brand called Brick River Cider located in St. Louis, Missouri. With Americana as the focus Vigor Branding designed numerous touchpoints that drove the story forward. The ciderworks’ packaging were the most important elements of focus since they’d lead the charge with retail and brand awareness. As a result, a woodcut/scratchboard style illustration was introduced of a non-descript midwestern city surrounded by rolling hills of farms and orchards, flanked by a beautiful river. This illustration’s classic style helped reinforce the roots-focused brand.

Combined with classic typography that dared to mix three different styles, the packaging and touchpoints created an overarching visual brand narrative that’s unique to the craft cider industry where apple imagery dominates.
