Dan McNulty of MC Brand Studios commissioned Steven Noble to create the illustrations for the Calavo Growers Annual report for 2017. The illustrations include the cover, portrait of the founder and board members, the shareholders letter spread and a series of other interior spot illustrations in a scratchboard engraving style to match the currency look and feel found in a stock certificate. The company packages, and distributes avocados and other fruits, as well as their fresh prepared food to restaurants, stores, and individual customers worldwide and was established in 1924 with revenues of over a billion dollars per year.
