Michael Birch commissioned Steven Noble illustrate their brand for his new interactive product company. It was important that this brand have a good sense of geeky humor, and that its touchpoints would excite top notch developers to want to get a job there. The final illustration was the "Evolution of the Code Monkey" along with the symbolic monkey holding a flame.
The illustrations were used on everything from the core brand collateral pieces, key moments in the office space, to apparel and even screensavers. Unfortunately, MM didn't get to customize his ping-pong tables but we suppose the fun had to stop somewhere.

The final artwork was created traditionally by hand and etched on a scratchboard surface.
