Landor Associates NYC commissioned Steven Noble to render illustrations for the George Dickel Tennessee Whiskey labels. Founded in 1870, George A. Dickel and Company was founded and became a wholesaling firm which bought whiskey from regional distillers and distributed it in barrels, jugs and bottles to become a nationally distributed enterprise. The illustrations include the portrait of George Dickel along with the original distillery building in a scratchboard woodcut style.
