Naked Ideas tasked the talents of Steven Noble to create a unique heraldic crest for one of their clients called Grace Blue Partnership. The company has 3 divisions, each of which is represented by 1 of three animals in the crest: Lion, Pegasus, and Gryphon. The challenge was to illustrate a crest to be much simpler/cleaner with the aim of it feeling 'less stuffy' and 'more modern' but still giving the nod to the original heraldic engravings (i.e. one size fits all). They also wanted something that could more easily be used in smaller sizes without totally losing all the line detail.
