Steven Noble was commissioned to create labels for both Grace Lane’s Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon labels. As the first recognized wine-growing region in the Pacific Northwest, Yakima Valley is centrally located within Washington’s vast Columbia Valley. The region also includes Washington’s oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines. The task was to include a classic illustrated vineyard scene with a pathway running through it rendered in a bold woodcut style.
