Hanzell Vineyards, located in Sonoma County north of San Francisco and founded back in 1953, commissioned Steven Noble to render a series of illustrations for their wine labels that includes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. These illustrations were hand-drawn in the traditional scratchboard woodcut style that includes a grape leaf, wine cave and distillation rooms.
