Sallie Reynolds Allen of Studio North commissioned Steven Noble to re-create the old logo for J.A. Magnus that includes the lion with a quiver of arrows that was so integral to the old labels and therefore needed to be a big part of the new branding. There were several different antique Magnus bottles to draw inspiration from, but there seemed to be a lot of inconsistencies among them except some featured an intriguing scalloped edge design. The result was a beautiful Lion holding an acorn with the symbolic arrows.
