Kilbeggan tasked Walter Isaacson with developing a drink strategy for it's Irish whiskey. They decided to pair the whiskey with hard cider to capitalize on cider's rising popularity.
As a result, they decided to develop a logo to use in retail advertising and premium barware to promote the drink pairing by working with illustrator Steven Noble to create an engraved vintage boxer from the early 1900s, an era where Irish migration to the United States was at unprecedented heights.
