Peter Mondavi Sr. was inspired to produce this wine from the distinguished and charming hillside views of the Napa Valley where the grapes gently ripen and burst with flavors in the California sun and commissioned Steven Noble to create this illustration that includes this landscape vineyard scene. The Napa Vista label was produced to symbolize this history when the Mondavi family purchased their family winery back in 1943.
