Studio Bartlett and Lyric, Inc. commissioned Steven Noble to render a new customized woodcut
illustration for a packaging label called Old Log Cabin located in the Pacific Northwest. This bourbon whiskey brand’s roots reach deep into American history, back to 1840, when E.G. Booz – a young man of 16 at the time – made his first batch of liquid goodness demanded by a thirsty community. The illustration depicts
a traditional old logo cabin in the woods with smoke coming out of the chimney created in a woodcut etching style.
