Quivira Vineyards & Winery commissioned Steven Noble to illustrate a series of icons for their individual wine labels that includes 13 different varietals such as Zinfandel, Mouvedre, Grenache, Syrah, etc... These handcrafted illustrations were created to directly connect their branding to their unique "biodynamic Farming" which resuts in wines that deliver earthy, vibrant, and rich flavors from the soil or what is also called the "terroir." Furthermore, these illustrations symbolize some of the wildlife that exists in this specific ecosystem of Sonoma County in California such as the hawk, mountain lion, coho salmon, wild boar, and deer.
