Redwood Empire Whiskey commissioned Steven Noble to custom illustrate their three new labels that includes: Foggy Burl, Devil’s Tower, and Screaming Titan in a scratchboard linocut style. The Foggy Burl is based actual redwood tree burls and among some of the tallest ever measured (347 feet). Foggy Burl tree collects 40% of its water from the fog each year for sustainable independence. Redwood National Park is home to more than 45% of the remaining old-growth coastal redwoods on Earth. Deep within this forest is the Devils Tower. Named after the striking monument in Wyoming it rises 340 feet into the sky. The Redwood Empire stretches from San Francisco to Humbolt Bay and on to the Oregon border. It is a rugged, sparsley populated area still dominated by forest, including the protected groves of Muir Woods and the massive forests of the Humboldt Redwoods.
