Samuel Adams called upon the talents of Steven Noble to create a unique and conceptual illustration for their new label called “Fresh as Helles” packaging for the Helles lager. The illustration is a play of elements with a skull that includes a citrus of orange slices with sweet honey dripping down with citrus leaves and orange blossom pedals in the background. The illustration was created by hand in a woodcut/engraving style with color added separately.
