Steven Noble was given the task of illustrating a custom illustration for Sierra Cantabria’s label’s (Vinedos y Bodegas) located in Spain founded back in 1870. San Vicente de la Sonsierra appears at the foot of the Sierra Mountains that gives its name to the winery and that protects their estates from the cold north winds. This is a town of great winemaking tradition, where their wines are born with a distinction. This woodcut illustration represents this small hillside town with the vineyards at the base of the valley and mountains in the distance.
