Steven Noble was commissioned by SLS Hotels and GBH in London to design the custom illustration logo identity for their sub-branding stationary as well as for all their room collateral in the style of this mischievous baroque slice of European culture for all their hotels. The identity's monkeys surprise and delight guests in every detail. The chandelier was originally modeled after Steven Noble's own dining room chandelier. Each monkey was individually illustrated and layered over the chandelier for animation purposes.
The logo identity was later transformed into a bronze statue on the side of the hotel building and also made into a bed headboard (see below).
Artwork was illustrated on scratchboard using X-Acto knife tools on background clayboard.
