BAH Design commissioned Steven Noble to render their new packaging label illustration. Ste Genevieve is owned by Mesa Vineyards which is located in the Escondido Valley appellation in West Texas, 27 miles east of downtown historic Fort Stockton. The illustration depicts the Texas mesa which is the American English term for tableland, an elevated area of land with a flat top and sides that are usually steep cliffs. The vineyards are located in this area and it was pertinent to include this characteristic landscape.
