Design Agency Pocket Rocket had a clear view of how this label should look for Douglas Laing’s latest blended malt Scotch Whisky. The agency then called upon Steven Noble's talents to illustrate a small mouse creature for their up and coming malt Scotch Whisky label brand. The final artwork was created in a scratchboard woodcut style after approved preliminary sketches were submitted.

Thermography printing was used to give an enamelled look to the bottle for this new product launch. They recreated this by using clever rotary screening and multiple depths of black on a vivid white material to give the mouse a life like appearance. The label was finished off with a mix of gloss and matt varnishes to give extra dimension. The extravagant cutter shape is added for stand out against dark bottle and great shelf appearance.
