Selbert Perkins Design tasked Steven Noble to help in creating a brand identity for the Tradesman Coffee Shop & Lounge located in Boston. As the story goes the Tradesman’s name is derived from three central ideas; the Financial District location buzzing with Financial Traders, global coffee trading, and for the illustrious artisan craftsman. Tradesman pays homage to the men and women who have worked tirelessly to establish a future brighter and richer than which they were handed. The illustration includes a historical figure from the turn-of-the-century illustrated in a scratchboard engraving style that exemplifies the characteristics of this Tradesman.
