University of California, Davis contacted Steven Noble to create some custom brand marks for the university to be used on their print and digital materials that represent a brand concept like “Sustainability” or “Health.” The aim behind these campus icons was also to be a little whimsical and/or tongue-in-cheek in nature such as the cow riding the bicycle or an egghead rolling on the ground. The overall goal of this rebrand was to reposition UC Davis as a top-tier, internationally-recognized university that is uniquely suited to tackle the problems of the 21st century.
