The Martin Agency commissioned Steven Noble to create illustrations for the UCI World Cycling Posters. The cycling event is scheduled for September 2015 in Richmond, VA. The illustrations were created to capture that old vintage "historical" feel similar to the battle scenes from the American Civil War. The illustrations were applied over a warn parchment paper surface and screen faded into a grey color. The illustrations were hand-etched in a scratchboard engraving style.
