Williams-Sonoma commissioned Steven Noble to create a series of intricate grape border illustrations for their collection of dishes and plates that includes the standard round plate and oval platter that with elements including grab clusters, leaves attached to a wooden lattice and frame. The illustrations were printed on ceramic porcelain using food grade inks. These illustrations were all hand drawn in a pen and etching style and colored separately.
