Alabama Tourism Department launched the Year of Alabama Trails campaign illustrated by Steven Noble, which is a multi-year initiative from 2025-2026 to celebrate the state’s extensive trail systems and its positive impact on tourism, conservation, quality of life for Alabama, and economic development. The illustration includes Red Mountain Park, Gulf State Park, Noccalula Falls, Cahaba River Bend, Bald Rock, and Oak Mountain created in a woodcut style with color added digitally.
