Bailey Group commissioned Steven Noble to illustrate the new Yuengling Eagle & Barrel icon which is a proud symbol of the family which has owned the brewery since 1829. D.G. Yuengling & Son in Pottsville also changed its packaging for the first time in 30 years with the new labels being released last April. Beer drinkers will notice the new packaging and label changes to Yuengling Lager, Yuengling Light and Black & Tan. The artwork was intricately rendered using a scratchboard technique with two versions created for different sized applications.
